The Kemp Town Carnival is one of Brighton's most cherished community street festivals and one of it's largest. As a totally free city event it is always a big challenge to pull in the funds to make it happen. This year is no exception and sadly no sponsorship has of yet been found.
Although some of the core funding has been secured through fundraising events, support from local traders, market stall pitch hire and a successful Arts Council bid, the Carnival faces a shortfall that could leave vital key aspects of the event in jeopardy.
To help make this years Carnival happen we are launching a Kickstarter Campaign and we only have a small amount of time to make it work.
We have until June 5th to raise £3,000 and make sure the this Carnival can take place and we need your help to do it!
